“满山秋色关不住,一片红叶寄相思”。1923年,他把情话写在一片枫叶上寄给她。
“The autumn colors of the mountain can’t be enclosed, a red leaf sends my love to you.” In 1923, he wrote his love message on a maple leaf and sent it to her.
他叫高君宇,中国共产党早期领导人。她是石评梅,进步女作家。他比她大6岁。
His name is Gao Junyu, early leader of the Communist Party of China. She is Shi Pingmei, a progressive female writer. He is six years older than her.

1924年,在上海赴广州的船上,高君宇给石评梅写信说“我是有两个世界的,一个世界一切都是属于你的”。“另一个世界里,我是不属于你,更不属于我自己”。对从事的革命神圣事业,他谦称“我只是历史使命的走卒”。
In 1924, on the boat from Shanghai to Guangzhou, Gao Junyu wrote to Shi Pingmei, “I have two worlds, one in which everything belongs to you.” “In the other world, I do not belong to you, let alone to myself.” He humbly said, “I am only a pawn of the historical mission” in regard to the sacred cause of the revolution.

1925年,高君宇病逝,生命止步于29岁。在高君宇的墓碑上,刻着石评梅手书的碑记“我是宝剑,我是火花,我愿生如闪电之耀亮,我愿死如彗星之迅忽”
In 1925, Gao Junyu died of illness at the age of 29. On Gao Junyu's tombstone, there is a handwritten inscription by Shi Jiamei: “I am the sword, I am the spark, I wish to live as brightly as lightning, I wish to die as swiftly as a comet.”
